The process
At dawn, tea pickers with bamboo tea baskets enter the dew – wet tea garden. Morning light filters through the green tea plants. Their fingers lightly touch the fresh tea buds and use a special hand – plucking method to ensure the leaves are not broken. The tea buds in the morning are plump and usually only “one bud and one leaf” or “one bud and two leaves” are selected. As the bamboo basket fills up, the tea leaves are withered and then enter the “killing green” process, the first step in initial tea processing

This premium – grade tea has finely – twisted, uniform leaves with a glossy, emerald – green hue and dense white downy hairs. When infused, it releases a bright, pale – green liquor with a rich, long – lasting aroma blending fresh and light floral – fruity notes.
